Large Hole Cherry Creek Jasper

Cherry Creek Jasper is colorful jasper discovered in China. It is also sometimes referred to as Red Creek Jasper, Red River Jasper or Picasso Jasper. The stone is mined by the Cherry Creek Mine, and was named after the stream that runs through the area called the Red Creek. It has amazing brecciated patterns which make it appear like an abstract landscape painting. The colors range from a bright red to aqua to dark green to a mustard yellow.
