Charoite Beads & Pendants

Charoite is a lavender-colored natural mineral that can also occur in green or blue variations, although purple is the most common.  In jewelry design, Charoite looks beautiful with silver or gold metals. We love pairing Charoite with other gemstones like Amethyst, Onyx, and Smoky Quartz. Charoite also coordinates well with gray gemstones including Labradorite and Hematite.

Charoite is found only in the Sakha Republic of Russia near the Chara River, for which it was named. This stone is also said to be named in reference to the Russian word “chary,” meaning “magical.” Charoite is a recent addition to the world of gemstones, first discovered and indexed in 1978.

In the metaphysical community, Charoite is said to be a powerful healing crystal that enhances our positive energy. Charoite is believed to hold healing properties that can be supportive during challenging life events or transitions.
