Rutilated Quartz is a variation of quartz mineral that has encapsulated particles of rutile (titanium dioxide). These rutile inclusions appear as needle-like crystal inclusions. Since these thin inclusions often appear as black, golden, brown, or red, this stone is also called “Venus Hair.” Metaphysically, this stone is used to introduce feelings of hope and mental clarity. Rutilated Quartz is also believed to hold healing properties that assist in developing vision boards, manifestation, and deeper self-awareness.
