Ocean Jasper is a bold, multicolored gemstone that includes swirls of brown, white, green, turquoise, and purple tones. Found only on Madagascar’s coastline during low tide, this stone is made of silica-rich cooled lava which leads to dramatic variations in pattern and color. 

Ocean Jasper looks great with gold and silver metals. Since Ocean Jasper has such a bold color palette, it works best as a stand-alone piece. However, Ocean Jasper can be paired with neutral, black, or white gemstones like Moonstone, Clear Quartz and Black Obsidian.

Ocean Jasper was first discovered in Madagascar in 1922, and has been difficult to find ever since due to its remote location and popularity.
