Pietersite is a multicolored stone usually consisting of golden yellow, grey, blue, and brown tones. This stone was named after Sid Pieters who discovered this stone in 1962 while exploring the African nation of Namibia. Pietersite is still most often sourced from Namibia and other African countries, although it has also been discovered in China. Metaphysically, Pietersite is believed to boost self-esteem and confidence. This stone is also said to hold healing properties that encourage us to let go of harmful habits.
