Amazonite Beads & Pendants

 Amazonite is a popular crystal from the feldspar mineral family that ranges from pale aqua blue to brighter turquoise. Deeper, more vibrant specimens of Amazonite are usually classified as Russian Amazonite. In jewelry design, Amazonite can coordinate with both silver and gold metals. This stone looks great with other blue gemstones like Apatite, as well as white, grey, or clear stones like Moonstone, Selenite, Hematite, and Clear Quartz. Although Amazonite’s meaning comes from the Amazon River, no Amazonite has been found in that specific location. Most raw Amazonite is sourced from Russia, Brazil, and the United States (mainly Virginia).  

Metaphysically, Amazonite is said to hold healing properties that can soothe the nervous system and settle racing thoughts. This stone also is used in releasing emotional trauma and negativity.
