Rutilated Quartz Beads & Pendants

Rutilated Quartz is a variation of clear quartz that has natural needle-thin inclusions of colored minerals. Depending on the color variation of Rutliated Quartz, this stone is very versatile in jewelry designs. 

Rutilated Quartz is named for the encapsulated particles of rutile mineral (titanium dioxide). These rutile inclusions appear as needle-like crystal inclusions. Since these thin inclusions often appear as black, golden, brown, or red, this stone is also called “Venus Hair.” Green Rutilated Quartz is also a common variation. Rutilated quartz can be found in Australia, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Madagascar, Norway, Pakistan and the United States.

Metaphysically, this stone is used to introduce feelings of hope and mental clarity. Rutilated Quartz is also believed to hold healing properties that assist in developing vision boards, manifestation, and deeper self-awareness.
