approximate hole size: 1mm
Sardonyx is a black gemstone with inclusions of white and warm brown that appear like veins or thin stripes across each stone. The name Sardonyx comes from a combination of two Greek words: sard meaning reddish brown and onyx meaning veined gem. Most Sardonyx is sourced from India but it has also been found across Central Europe and even the Great Lakes region of the United States. In the metaphysical community, Sardonyx is believed to hold healing properties that can protect us from negative energies and self-doubt.
