Turritella Agate is a North American fossilized stone that is mined at the Green River Formation in Wyoming. It is a type of Chalcedony, a mineral of the quartz family. Turritella is a genus of tightly coiled and elongated cone sea snails, you can see their fossilized forms throughout this stone. It is considered a spiritual crystal, deeply connected to the earth and events of one's past. The ancient life within is said to lend the power of healing and wisdom.
