Sodalite - Set A & B 8 inch strands
Sodalite is a rich royal blue colored tectosilicate mineral, with white, grey, and sometimes orange streaks. It was first discovered in the late 1800s in Ontario, Canada and got the name sodalite because it has a high content of sodium. It is a strong but fragile stone, which looks similar to lapis, but without the flecks of pyrite. Most sodalite is said to have a fluorescent cast under ultraviolet light. This stone encourages rationality, truth, helps with verbalizing feelings and prevents anxiety. In healing, it is said to boost the body’s calcium levels and support the immune system.
