K2 Granite is sometimes referred to as K2 Jasper, or raindrop azurite - it is a rare variety of feldspar with orbicular inclusions of azurite and also sometimes malachite.  K2 is a relatively new gemstone, that is mined in the K2 range of Pakistan, which is home to the world's second-highest mountain in the world; Mount Godwin Austen.  The rugged and snowy terrain in the area make this stone very difficult to find obtain.  Some people say that this stone combines the earth and the spiritual realm, bringing any of those who possess the stone, to a higher level of awareness.  K2 is best used on the crown, the third eye, and the throat chakra.  It can be used to seek, see, and speak knowledge and truth.
